He has started his Medical career from the most prestigious and one of the oldest medical colleges of the country GRANT MEDICAL COLLEGE, MUMBAI from where he has been awarded MBBS degree. He continued his higher medical education in the field of General Surgery from Grant Medical College & Sir J.J.Group of Hospitals, Mumbai. After completing his General Surgery , he has served as lecturer at the same institute. He has also completed DNB in General Surgery. To accomplish his Goal to become on of the best Cardiac surgeon, he has joined Cardiac Surgery at Seth G.S. Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai which is considered one of the best cardiac surgeries teaching centres in the world. He has been awarded M.Ch in cardiac surgery from Mumbai University. He has also achieved prestigious degree of DNB in Cardio Thoracic Surgery.

To enhance his surgical skills he continued to work as lecturer in cardiac surgery at K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai for 3 years. His passion to provide best of cardiac surgery to poor and needy people, he joined at Shri Sai Baba Hospital, Shirdi. He started this centre in 2006 and very soon it has become No. 1 Cardiac Surgery centre of Maharashtra where people from all over the country were successfully treated by him. His desire to learn finer and recent advances in cardiac surgery leads him to organize workshops and invite best cardiac surgeons from different parts of the country and the UK. He has visited different parts of the world to enhance and update his academic and surgical skills.

He is one of few cardiac surgeons who has skill to perform all types of cardiac surgery. He has performed more than 10,000 cardiac surgery till date which is maximum by any of the Cardiac surgeons in North Maharashtra. He has excellent results for cardiac surgery like Coronary artery bypass grafting on the beating heart using total arterial conduits. He routinely performs Mitral and Aortic valve replacement surgery. He also does Mitral and Tricuspid valve repair surgery. He has maximum experience in performing Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery. He regularly performs complex cardiac surgery like Aortic root and Arch replacement surgery, Valve repair / replacement with bypass surgery, excision of cardiac tumours. He has a special interest in congenital cardiac surgery and performs Intra cardiac repair of ASD, VSD, TOF, AV canal, DORV, DCRV, Pulmonary atresia, absent Pulmonary valve etc.

He has been invited as a guest speaker at many of the conferences and performs cardiac surgery at different centres to pass on his skills to junior surgeons. He has trained many cardiac surgeons who are practicing successfully in different parts of the country.
